RLR is a fabric treatment that will remove buildup from detergents and laundry additives.
Many praise RLR as a product for stripping diapers. Before choosing to use RLR on your diapers, please consider the following:
- RLR removes detergent buildup. If you have been using a non-residue detergent (like Charlie's Soap), RLR is unnecessary.
- RLR will remove mineral buildup. If your diaper issues are from hard water, this is a great option to try.
- If your diapers were washed in a detergent that is considered not safe for cloth diapers or if fabric softener was used, you may need more than one treatment with RLR to remove all the residue.
RLR is safe on whites and colors!
Directions for using RLR:
Open package and empty directly on laundry in the washing machine (wet or dry). Add cloth diaper safe detergent and wash on hot with the longest agitation cycle your washing machine will allow. For severe issues, you can soak in RLR for up to an hour.
RLR Laundry Treatment is available in a single use pack (envelope) or a two-treatment double pack packaged in single use plastic capsules.
